New Album Due Out Soon

The RoadTrash Band is currently in the Backwoods Boogie Studio finishing up production on their debut album due out very soon.  Stay tuned...

The RoadTrash Band hails from Windsor, the birthplace of Vermont, and brings a very stripped-down and dirty vintage rock & roll sound to venues all over New England.  Screaming guitar solos, powerhouse drums and gritty vocals are what this band is known for, and some say that The RoadTrash Band covers are better than the originals.... You will have to hear for yourself!

The RoadTrash Band was formed by drummer-turned-frontman Dan Blaise in 2012, with the goal to write original Rock N' Roll songs and also take old obscure country songs and put a more straight ahead heavy punk rock groove to them.  Their major influences include, but are not limited to, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Social Distortion, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash.  This cross genre is what The RoadTrash Band calls "cowpunk" and "thunderboogie" which really comes to life during their grueling  live performances.  " What you hear on the album is what you get live from us"  says Dan.  "And if I'm not broken or bloody by the end of the night, then I clearly have not done my job.  We love to play in the Barrooms and saloons, where there isn't a proper stage or anything and you're directly in the middle of the combat zone.  It creates a much more intimate (and sometimes violent) environment. Sometimes we have to use our stage monitors more as a blockade than a listening device HAHA!!"

As of late, The RoadTrash Band is seeking bigger venues and their self-titled album (recorded at Backwoods Boogie Studios by Bernie Lanoue) is due out very soon.  Be sure to grab it if you can.
